MGS5 - Captured Soldiers

Hey guys, quick question...

I've always wondered what is going on with the captured soldiers and how they correlate with what I'm doing in the field...

For example, I've just done a mission called Pitch Dark, and I captured 2 guys with multiple A++ ratings which is obviously rare. The fulton was successful of course.

Once I'd completed the mission, the report didn't show any A++ captured folks, and in fact reported back that I had a whole lot of new lower standard soldiers which I certainly didn't capture (I'm quite picky) - So what the hell is going on and where are my elite guys that I just bagged?

(Once back in the chopper and looking in my staff roster, they're nowhere to be found)

As far as i understand it you're captured soldiers are returned to mother base and put in to the different development areas, or moved around by the player as you see fit - i didn't because i found that part boring.. A++ soldiers in game are pretty rare from what i've seen, but i'm not sure how far in to it you are. You sure they were ranked that high?

Might wanns check they're not in the sick bay or the waiting area too.

Afaik they go into the brig once back at mother base. Where they need persuading to joining the diamond dogs. Sometimes successful. Sometimes not.

Yep, they go in the brig.

You can see how long it'll be until they're moved into a job, there's a green bar under their name.
