Mic for Panasonic GH4.

Hi, I have a GH4 and a bought a Rode Videomic Pro mic (not the +) a while back.

Its a good enough mic but just afraid of the battery in the mic running out unknowing to me.
Then the problem is, there is no sound recorded.
I know the new + version only uses the mic battery when the camera is powered up but
is there a mic someone could recommend that I could use with the GH4 that doesn't need a battery to power it?

Hi, no, the GH4 dosent have that feature. Aye, a new batter does last a long time and there shouldn’t be a problem.

hi thanks, yes, it is my job, nothing wrong with using a GG4, I’ve used it a lot but my main camera is. PMW 350, that’s a good idea about the audio adapter, I forgot about that. Thanks all
