Mice seems to be playing up

Ive got the logitech mx laser mouse and for a while on and off iam getting some problems with it being that it doesnt move to the correct position and when I left click it sometimes highlights text and other times left clicking doesnt do anything.

Ive tried pressing the reset button on the receiver and the mice but iam still having a problem other than a new mouse does anyone have any ideas?

Has any of the wire been kinked or have you tired it in various different USB slots?
Is it wireless, something as simple as new batteries?

Yer its wireless, batteries are built in. Will try a different USB port, thanks

How old is it, maybe the built in battery is now not taking in charge well enough?

Good few years old now, seems to hold its charge ok. The batterys lights still seem to work also.

Could just be old age has caught up with it and the usage on the buttons has worn away some of the workings, not making good contact anymore.
