I've got Logitech G5 which is on it's way out and want to replace it, I've noticed a couple of mice with Aim buttons

Rat 5, 7 & 9
Roccat Kone +

I'm nervous about the Rats (sensor issue) and the Kone+ (size of a house and heavy) due to reviews I've seen so far but the Aim button has intrigued me. Are there any other mice with aim buttons and are the aim buttons any good ? I'd love to buy a logitech g700, g9x or g500 but have had my head turned by the aim button malarkey for BF3 and other FPS's in the future.

Thanks

The aim button literally just changes the DPI so any mouse with on the fly DPI adjustment will do the same thing.

Steelseries Kinzu V2 is what you should look at, small, light, good sensor (hopefully will find out later today) and DPI adjustment.

It's the location of the aim button that's handy. It sits under your thumb whereas every other mouse I've used with on the fly dpi adjustment you end up moving your hand.

Personally it's a useless feature however.

I used it in two games.....

mass effect - when planet scanning, wack it up to increase the speed of the scan.

BCBF2 - slow down the mvmnt when sniping.

Not really worth the fuss/aim/cost IMO.
