I saw this because a UK-based stunt guy reposted it on Instagram. He was going crazy over how dangerous and out of control it was. At first look I thought "wow he's right" but then I watched again and thought "nah they must know what they're doing". But on a third look... check out the guy slap-bang middle of frame at the start (in front of the police car that flips over towards camera). Is it me or does he get hit by the ambulance right at the end? What the hell? Crazy..

They are dangerous - but check out some of the stuff like STORROR did on a few movies - they work up each bit section by section until it is finessed so while the overall shot looks dangerous every bit has been practised to perfection individually for the tolerances until it comes together.

Sometimes it can still go wrong and it is dangerous but nothing like as dangerous as it looks.

Nah..I would say its about right, a lot of those poeple running are the stunt men for the scene already running on first impact before they could know where everything was going to land. Maybe the ambulance jumped a bit over. That the the shout of W everyone light on your feet" before filming telling them to be ready to run etc. You can also see the pully rope on teh road to see it pulling the ambulance etc.

It looks like one person gets literally run over! They try to move out of the way of the rolling car to be then run down by the ambulance. I can't get a good screengrab from the instagram site. But it's this person :

But things like this probably happen all the time. Just read about the death/horrific injuries sustained by stunt actors on Resident Evil for example.

Death, Injuries, Amputations on Resident Evil set

The guy that was slating it on Insta has been a stuntman on GoT, Bond, Star Wars so I respect his opinion. Although funnily enough it has disappeared from his stories now. He was pretty rude about Mr Bay. Perhaps they have history :) Sidenote, I'm amazed those guys are allowed to film so much on set but it looks interesting I'll take a look.

Yes that's the guy. Narrowly escapes the flipping car only to suddenly disappear in front of the ambulance. Doesn't look right at all. Bay's reaction putting his hands up in the air is a bit like 'omg'.
