Mickey_D....or anyone else that knows.

I've got friends in Texas who run two Merc 300TD's from the early 80s with galactic mileages on them. Spent a week driving around in one and it was kinda fun. Not that easy to find Diesel over there and when you do it's nasty evil smelling stuff that's like treacle. Current UK diesel is like sweet smelling perfume in comparison.
 
Yeah, our Deisel has a rather toxic, nose burning scent to it.

I've always been a little against using it after having been in Korea where EVERYTHING runs on Deisel. And that place STUNK of it. At least Pusan did... :D
