Hey guys,

I'm new here and trying to build a budget PC just for Blizzard games such as WoW and Heroes of the Storm.

I chose to go Micro ATX route to be smaller and would also like a build which uses not a lot of power.

This is what i got in mind but i havent been into PC hardware in over 10 years.

Intel Core i3-4330 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail

Avexir Core Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21331104G-2CIR) - Red Light

Seagate SSHD 7200RPM 3.5" 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DX001) SSHD Hybrid Drive

Corsair Builder Series CX 430W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020046-UK)

MSI Z97M Gaming Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard

EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti FTW ACX 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (02G-P4-3757-KR)

Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 High Airflow PC Case

I'm not sure if i should buy a air cooler or a water cooler since price difference aint that big.

Got OS and peripherals sorted myself.

Would like to keep it under £600 and sort of want a Intel Build.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

PTKID

I can't spec currently as I'm mobile but I can see a few changes.

You have no need for a Z97 board, as the CPU isn't OCable, a H81/B85 is ideal.

Okay, i've had time to spec now. :)

So, this is what i am thinking:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £139.99
1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 270 TurboDUO 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £113.99
1 x Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 High Airflow PC Case - Black (CC-9011070-WW) £69.95
1 x Avexir Core Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16001104G-2IR) - Red Light £59.99
1 x Crucial MX100 128GB SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD + 9.5mm Adapter (CT128MX100SSD1) £54.98
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 450W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £49.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £43.99
1 x Gigabyte H81M-D2V Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £40.99
1 x Cooler Master Seidon 120V Ver. 2 AIO CPU Cooler £39.95
Total : £623.42 (includes shipping : £8.00).

I know most blizzard titles don't run more than 2 cores but the i5 is a better value option, the i3's should really be around £70 for it to be better value. If you do ned to creep under £600, swapping to an i3 shouldn't be a massive loss, though if you can afford it....

GPU, the 270 is much better than the 750ti, for the same money too.

The superflower is a great unit and also gives you FREE SHIPPING with this deal: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18630207

SSHD aren't worth the money yet, its better to get a HDD and SSD seperate. As above.

As for the cooler, this coolermaster looks good for the money, pre-order but maybe worth waiting for.

What do you think?
