Hi,

I've kind of lost touch since I built my x58 rig. Never seen any point in upgrading. I still don't really, but i would like to build a micro atx rig to go for something smaller.

I dont think i'll ever use SLI/X-fire, I like to overclock and i have an external DAC so onboard sound isn't an issue. Main use is gaming (current quad core, 8 threads probably overkill!)

Thinking of using the following components:

Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM £191.99

Asus Z87 MAXIMUS VI GENE Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £169.99

Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (PV38G186C9K) £65.99

Have i got anything fundamentally wrong!?

I like the look of the parvum systems cases.

Thought, could probably just overclock the RAM to whatever speeds suits?

Wasnt looking at changing my PSU and i'm happy with my intel ssd, will finally run at sata 3 speeds!
