Iv just bought an AS Rock Micro-ATX motherboard for a new rig i`m building. Iive in a dolls house and would like a system as small as possible, so have been looking at small Micro ATX cases but even those are a bit big.

So just been thinking would it beposibletoget a Micro-ATX board in a Mini-ITX case I know it will be a squeeze, but if Ilook for a larger ITX case?

anyone had any experiences of this?

No, if it's truely a mini ITX case, then it won't have the PCI slots available for the length of an mATX board.

I did consider buying a Mini-ITX but then I saw this Micro ATX for £20 so took a punt on it. I dont I dont think i`m looking for any cards in it because as I`m not bothered about graphics cards the only thing extra I want is wireless

just what I was thinking skyline, If I did that I wouldn't have the need for any cards, and all id have to worry about would be hd, cpu heatsink, and optical drive.

my only issue is if the board physically is going to fit.

ITX has only 1 slot's worth of board. micro atx is a longer board and has space equivalent to 4 slots. Its a physical limitation. You would have to find an ITX case that has support for micro atx. It must have the space inside for the length of board, never mind cards.

It won't physically fit. The best case to get would be a Silverstone SG01/02 or a FT03, FT03 has a small footprint, but larger vertical size. Maybe even a Lian Li V35X case if you can still find them. Also, Coolermaster Elite 100 is supposidly the smallest mATX case going, and considerably cheaper - do a google for that and I think you can pick one up for £50.
