Micro ATX Mobo's seem like a decent way to save dosh

Can be more fiddly to work with, often has reduced power circuitry and less surface area to spread board heat out if people are into overclocking, etc.

I had an Micro ITX system, was a pain fiddling with the inside though as I practically had to take everything apart. Only reason I went back to ATX was because I wanted SLI. I would get a M-ITX system again though if I was looking at a steam streaming box

£110 for a board isn't bad (GB Gaming 5)

I've got a micro setup in a Phanteks Evolv and love it. i7 @ 4.7, 8GB RAM & 2x GTX Titans, can't complain!

Yep, Z97 m-ATX with a 4790k and 980gtx stuck on it. Also have a cube (Aerocool dead silence) and does the job nicely. Easier to transport to mates too!

I myself always opt for full sized, and in fact, even when I was building myself a decent MediaCentre, even after I spent a tidy sum on a really good MATX setup and a sweet case and everything, I changed my mind after only a few days and I ended up using my old AMD Hex core setup and buying a Zalman HD160.
I think another reason was that I wanted to plonk a number of cards into it, and even right now, it has a Radeon 7770 VapourX, Asus Xonar DG, a dual PCIX TV Card ,and two single PCI TV Cards ( 4 recording channels ) also SSD for C: and 2x3T Drives in RAID for the Media - Waste of money but great fun.

mATX doesn't seem to be any more expensive than standard ATX any more, but ITX is a different question where it does seem to be more expensive. Generally the lower end/budget H81 boards are almost all mATX
