Hi people,

What I already own:

ATI 5870

Corsair 4GB DDR3 RAM

120 GB SSD

Samsung F3 1TB

Lain-Li v354B Micro-atx case

LG HD-DVD/Blu-Ray Reader

So What I am proposing is to buy:

Intel 2500k

Corsair H50-1

Asus P8P67-M PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) M-ATX

Seasonic X-750w 90% Eff PSU

I will only use the PC for gaming, and only Arma 2, DCS Blackshark and Men of War: Allied Assault.

Is this a good spec? Any suggestions? PS: I am not rebuying graphics cards :)

I think the spec looks good, the motherboard can do crossfire & SLI @ 8x which will give you the possibility of upgrading in the future, in saying that you could drop the PSU to lower wattage if your not looking to increase performance any time soon.

I'm propsing that PSU as it is a quality brand with very good reviews and will allow to upgrade my machine over the years without having to worry about a PSU again.

I bought a hyper 530w in 2005, then a crappy 1000w brand witch broke inside a year lol, now a 520w corsair i got in MM as i was poor at the time.

At least this seasonic will be quality and a bit of future proofing.

So all reasonable choices I take it then?

I switched the standard fans on a H70 to 2 x Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM
Basically black, more expensive versions of the Apache. It was a friends build who had a side window and wanted them black. They are the same fans though. The standard corsair fans are known to create a bit of a whiny noise!
Can't compare too much though as he had a Haf X case which is huge.
