About a year ago i built a server using the Lian Li V351. The space I had available was a shelf that was only about 32cm deep so the fact this could be used “sideways” appealed a lot. It also looks pretty fantastic.
Unfortunately what I didn’t think about was the fact that despite the fact its huge, it only has space for 2 3.5” HD’s (3 with converting a 5.25” bay). As such the time has come I need to add extra space and I’ve hit a wall and need to invest in a new case with plenty of hard drive space.
Ignoring minimum depth now as I’ll just stick it on the floor (or put the case sideways again depending on height)
On my list therefore are
Fractal Designs Arc Mini

Seems fairly well laid out and space for 6 hard drives and pretty reasonably priced at £70

Pretty much as above as far as I can tell, only with a covering door to make it look a little better.

Lovely looking and seems a little smaller than the Fractal cases which looks a bit better, especially as its out on show. Space for 7 HD’s. Downsides are that at £145 its very expensive!!

Looks great in white and gives me what I need, although the internal layout perhaps isn’t quite as good as the others for accessing the hard drives.
Does anyone have any suggestions or comments for the above?
The other thing i've been looking for is that since i use a Pico PSU i always end up with a huge PSU sized hole in the back of my case. Does anyone know of anywhere that sell a cover plate?
