Micro card in an ATX case

Sorry for the double post, but I realised I would get a better response here.
I have a 15 year old + ATX case unbranded.
Would I be able to install a micro mobo in this case with or without modifications.
Or is the idea of micro mobo new and dedicated cases being the only way I'd accomodate that it.
The case is perfect for my needs if it has the correct mountings.
 
Most of the mounting holes are shared between ATX and mATX so it should be possible.

The mATX spec says:
Where possible, the microATX mounting holes line up with mounting holes used for ATX boards. Two new
holes (R and S in Figure 2) have been defined and added to provide mechanical support toward the front edge
of the microATX board.

So you might want to look at modifying the case for the 2 extra mounting points if you are going to attach anything very heavy to it.
