Sorry, wasn't sure which forum to post this query in...anyway...
I have used a small 2GB Micro SD card for roughly 2 years now in my nokia mobile phone. Everything worked OK - I used the SD Adaptor in my card reader to transfer photos, music, etc between my phone and computer.
So, I get a new phone for Christmas, so I put my 2GB Micro SD card into the new phone. It works perfectly fine at first, all music/videos/pictures etc are present. Using the SD adaptor I plug into the computer to transfer some pictures, and the computer doesnt recognise it any more, it doesnt even appear in the device list.
Failing to understand why it hasnt worked in the computer, i put it back into the phone - and it now gives the message "Unrecognised format - card must be formatted. Reformatting will erase all data." I dont want to reformat because Ill lose all the photos, videos, etc Iv taken from nights out.
Any ideas?! Im baffled tbh...
