Micro stutter

Hello :)

Get micro stutter in some games and after looking at various solutions one suggestion was to disable Nvidia high def audio. When I do this though I dont have any options for sound any more. I've got some Kef LS50 2's connected to an LG C4 via HDMI.

Any ideas how to get round this? Or other ways to tackle this issue?

On Win 11. Gfx card is a 4090.

Thank you!

What's the rest of your system specs? It's no surprise that disabling the audio you are using results in no audio.

If it does solve your micro stutter, you'll have to switch to using on board audio

Does disabling the audio solve the micro stutter problem ?
Never even considered that haha! No it doesn't. Back to the drawing board.

It's only noticeable when panning left/right with the camera in 1st/3rd person games. And then sometimes in some games, not in others. Driving me mad now :(

Found a guide that showed to delete nvidia and dx cache, then how to set up nvidia control panel for gsync and some in game settings. It’s fixed!!! Buttery smooth

Will share if anyone is interested

Please do, stutter threads are very common, so would be nice to have one with a fix at the end.

Every game I’ve tried so far is fixed

Spider-Man 2
Horizon forbidden west
RDR2 with mods
GTA 5 enhanced

Feels like I’ve upgraded my PC sorry for the turbo posting, I’m just over the moon haha! Been trying to fix this for a while

Ok, will give that a look. Thank you!
Glad it seems to be resolved for you, but keep latencymon in mind if it happens to resurface.

Yeah, I had the issue myself, and couldn't fix it. Thankfully, the retailer allowed me to return the items, and I did a different build. Still no clue what the actual cause was, though.
