I'm after a small amp/network player for my study so i can wire it to my network and have it play from a network share of mp3's organised into artist/album folders. Must be easy to use (wife friendly) and either come with speakers or use normal binding so i can add my own kef iq1's.

Anyone got any ideas?

thanks for the fast reply, that looks really good.. was hoping to find something that did both amp work and network access since i might be able to get it cheaper..

I've got a Roberts WM201. It's a wireless internet radio and will play mp3/flac from a shared folder or via tversity on your pc. The sound quality is superb for something of its size. I managed to pick one up last year from purple shirts for £50 when they were discontinuing it.

O2 joggler , can stream music from UPnP plus a load of other awesomeness. You can also install Ubuntu on it, there reduced down to £50 again at the moment too.
