1. I didn't know about it
2. It's only just popped up on my Windows Update list
3. Even if everyone in the world knew about it, the OP is only trying to be helpful.
 
It appeared about a week ago as "improves the reliability of systems that use Intel processors" - exactly what the OP described it as.
 
Yeah sorry to rain the OP's parade but I thought this was already well known information, didn't know it appeared in Windows Update but according to previous poster it did when it was released :confused:
 
I apologize, my reply wasn't necessary. I only expect to receive the same treatment, obviously my perspective of the Internet is skewed by years of speaking to unsavory people.
 
Well this is the first time anyone's called me on it, as I'm generally a lurker and don't post much anyway.
