Hi There,

Ive just started using my AMD Gaming PC again and updated it to Windows 10, I have my Bose Companions plugged into the Speaker/Headphone input at the rear and a Microphone plugged into the Mic port on the back of my Gigabyte Motherboard, now the sound is crystal clear when listening to music & playing games but when I record myself and listen back you can hear a slight hum/buzz. Now ive tried both front & rear mic ports and also a USB sound card and its still present when recording.

Ive tried the microphone elsewhere and it works fine. Everything else is working perfectly but not the microphone due to the buzzing/humming. Ive checked if Windows 10 needs any driver updates/sound card but its all up to date. Really not sure! Could it be a software thing, or the motherboard not grounding properly. Any ideas???

I appreciate any help, Thanks
Joshua
