Microphone crackling/buzzing issue

Hi guys,

Today I picked up another 7850 to crossfire. This has caused a problem with my sound though unfortunately. I fired up CS:GO to play with a couple of friends and they were all like "Whoa your mic has gone insane, it's making a crackling sound" So I looked into it and I've noticed that when I launch a game my mic does create some weird buzzing/crackling sound. At the desktop it does it now and again.

This problem only started now that i've put my graphics card in and I've got a feeling it's because my sound card is now so close to my graphics card. I've tried re-positioning the 2 graphics cards and the sound card but its to much of a close fit to make any difference.

Has anyone had any issues like this before and know how to solve it?

My sound card is the ASUS Xonar DGX in-case your wondering.

Never had this issue myself before but what usually causes that for me is if the mic connection isn't plugged in correctly, e.g causing static noise. So I have a hunch that by putting your new 7850 it is perhaps touching your soundcard? That noise is normally interference so I'd check to see if they are touching. If so try and move the soundcard to another pci slot. Hope this helps

Both were connected properly (Made sure of that first ) It's not touching but it is millimeters away, I did have suspicions that the graphics card being so close would cause static interference. The only other PCI slot is in-between the two cards and doesn't make any difference (If not worse). I'm all out of ideas but thank you for the suggestions.
