Microphone Jack Problem on MSI GX740

hey ive had the laptop just under a year now ( still in warranty ) and after all this time its had ups and downs, but what has bugged me is the mic jack on the computer fell apart one day (probably from using a 3.5mm adaptor which i regularly remove and replace, its quite heavy and probably loosened the jack) so anyway the actual plastic O dissapeared, and i was left with 3 bits of golden metal, the jack still worked for a long while as i noticed the jack was broken open about 4 months ago,

what has happened now is the golden bit at the bottom seems to have sunk and i cant bend them all into a square or circle again to make contact with the jack, its quite the bother as i use the mic for a lot of team based games and this is my main gaming pc atm, i have a spare pc which is more powerful but i find this laptop more accessible.

so yeah what can i do about this, its still in warranty and ive never opened the laptop up so it wont have a voidance, but im not sure if MSI would do anything about it, ive had a similair problem with the cooler i bought with the laptop, the USB ports stopped working ( the white strips actually came off) and it caused blue screens when used with the laptop,

so i have stopped using it, waste of £30! on another note, when i recieved the laptop ( i bought 3, one for brother one for cousin, who paid for his haha) we unboxed all 3 at the same time and mine had already been opened, the blue tape used to seal it had been cut, so i don't know if it was a display unit or a test unit?! anyway thats the only problem ive had with it, the fact the mic port has completely broken :( any help is appreciated!

* UPDATE * since nobody provided me an answer, either here or on the MSI forums, ive gone into the computer and had a look, the brace that holds the mic port together has come off and was freely loose in the case, ive reattached it and secured it, but the port is still unusable, i guess i will just have to use the internal mic or a USB mic instead, very dissapointing as my headset microphone is usually a better quality than other microphones.
