Guys ,

I cant get my mike working properly in Teamspeak , come to that I have just tried it and its not working in Windows either . I am tring to get my mike working with on board sound since i threw the Xfi card out of the window last year ( literaly ).

PK5 Mobo wth Windows 7 64 bit and I have tried all the local tests within TS .

I have tried to find properly working Realtek drivers all day but to no avail ,every time I try and insatll the latest ones it tells me the drivers cant be certified or soemthing and when I click to install them anyway it just does nothing .

Can anyone please link to the Windows 7 64 bit version for me please the ones I am using are from the Realtek web site version 6305

i used to run MS Sidewinder GV as it had a good mic setup tool whenever i couldnt get it to work, often fixed it. Otherwise uninstall sound drivers and reinstall

At the bottom right hand side where your clock is right click on the speaker and go to recording devices and you should end up with this:

Right click on microphone and go to properties to bring up the other window and make sure your volume is at 100% on your microphone and also mic boost is enabled.

Hope this helps you ;)

Thx for that but have been doing this. I think it could be a driver issue as its not working in Windows 7 , ( I have a spare mike so its not that ) .

This is what I am getting when I try and install my drivers ( dowloaded from realtek site three times now and no joy ) , everytime i click on Install this software it just loops back round to the message again after around 10 seconds .

I am just using the drivers that Windows somehow installed on the install ,

try the vista 64bit driver from realtek and before you install it set it to vista compatiblity in the properties.. when you right click on the driver exe.

You seem to be trying to install AC97 drivers, Asus P5K will have Realtek HD Audio will it not? Probably why it isn't doing much when you run the installer.
