Microphone not working???

Do I have to download something for my microphone to work as it isnt working?

Is it windows related or mb related?

I am sure I downloaed something for windows last time but could be wrong.

And as for the mb I used the disk provided which should at least provide microphone drivers.

Mics dont use drivers.

You need to enable the line. Go to windows volume control, go to the options menu and click properties. Select microphone in the list that pops up. You might wanna mute that channel once you've enabled it otherwise you'll be able to hear yourself thru your speakers when you talk.
