microphone problem

Hi,

Ive just rebuilt my pc and i can now hear my microphone through the speakers. It didnt do this before and its really annoying. I can also hear clicking when i scroll up and down in windows.

Anyone help?

Alright fella,

don't wanna patronise you, but have you tried the muting the playback of your mic in the sound control panel. The clicking might be the mic picking up the background noise of your mouse scrolling. Just thought anyway
