Used to have a "music SSD" in PC where I stored all my downloaded music.
Got a laptop and wanted the music accessible so removed the SSD from PC and put it into a USB enclosure which I can carry from laptop to PC and vice versa.
USB enclosure got annoying because of cables and bulkiness and looks ugly on desk.
Was thinking of getting a 1tb flash drive and put music on there instead.
Recently saw that they do 1tb MiscoSD cars and seeing as the laptop has a slot maybe this is a better idea. Then when I want to carry it to the PC I can use a MicroSD>USB adapter for it, but it will mostly be inside the laptop.
Is this a good idea? Which MiscoSD is most reliable for this? What about speed compared to SSD? I've had a couple MicroSDs fail on me in the past, so will probs back it up on the current SSD anyway... in which case copy/paste speed is important.
Thanks
