Importing unrecognised files into Access

Hiya,

I just have a quick question - not sure of anyone will be able to help me. I have a file that I have downloaded but I need to be able to import it into access 2003, I know how to import files, the only problem is that Access doesnt recognise the file. It is to big to open in excel or notepad and I wondered if anyone knew how I can convert the file into something that access would recognise?

What file type is it?

Try importing it as text. Or import it as text into Word, save it as a .doc file and then import that into Access.
