Microsoft Access 2007 Logon

Everytime I start Access now, a box pops up asking for a username and password. However, I don't remember setting any such thing. This means I cannot work with my database I am producing, and cannot even start a new database.

Does anyone have any solutions to circumnavigate around this somehow?

This is without even opening a database? You could try running the installer for Office 2007 and doing a repair install for Access?

Thanks for the help. I've just tried that, but unfortunately it didn't help =/ You can get into the welcome screen bit, but as soon as you try and create a new database, or open any other ones, it asks for the username and password.

Do I need to edit a registry setting or something?

That's weird. No idea about registry. All I can suggest is to check the trust settings. Or totally remove Office then reinstall.

Sounds like you've got a default workgroup file set.

I've not used Access 2007 much with user level security, so I can't offer too much, but that's how it's behaving.

Hope it gives you somewhere to start.
