Microsoft Action Pack?

Hi All,

I'm a developer (work Unix/Linux) but want to have a play around and get some skills in my own time with Microsoft Server/Exchange/SQL Server etc.

Whats the best way to get hold of them (lets assume my company can't get or won't give me any help and I'm trying to do it off my own back).

Can I qualify for action pack or is there some other way to get hold of this s/w without cost me and arm and a leg.

Depends on what you mean by "some skills" and "play around". All of the products you mention have varying length trials available.

I think nearly any company can qualify for an action pack.

As long as you are a member of the Microsoft Partner Programme you can buy the MS action pack

Or buy a Microsoft Technet subscription @ £200-250 per year gives you a lot of operating systems, SQL, exchange, etc. to play around with.
