They were never banned. MS pulled them. If thats the baby to dead one you are reffering to.

its a good advert as it marks the turn of the video game from a lame kid running about with lightning coming from its tv to a sophisticated ploy. Whether or not the game is good is irrelevant, I like it as it helps swing the consensus that games are for kids.

I think he means the 2 "Jump In" ones.

One was like live action cops and robbers with 2 cars racing across a city only for them to stop and switch who was chasing whom.

The other was a big live action gun fight. (like that episode of Spaced)

Both excellent adverts, very clever way of advertising Xbox live! without any game footage.
