microsoft c++ visual- need them all?

so, having a routine muck out of progams, and this business of having a ton of different versions of microsoft visual c++ is kinda ridiculous, presumable this is games installing their own version each time they install.

so do i need all of them? or would it be fine to just have the most up to date version?

You need atleast several of them - unfortunately can't just have the latest one as many games are compiled against a specific version - without a lot of checking game by game can't really pare them down much.

Ahh well, will just have to hold me ocd at bay then, its like this same business of games spawning their folders all over my documents, it should be compulsory to have the directory as documents/my games/(name of game)
