HI guys,

I need some advice :S I've passed the following exams so far :

70-270, 70-290 & 70-291. Hopefully I'll pass the exchange exam in 2 weeks and then I'll be an MCSA xD

I've got two questions however :)

1. What really is the difference between an MCSA and an MCSE (apart from 3 extra exams, is it worth going for the MCSE?)
2. What sort of renumeration could a person be looking at roughly for obtaining these qualifications? If there is a rough guide at all.

On a more serious note. The difference are the content of those three extra exams. They are the design exams and basically say "I can do more than support a system".

As for renumeration, nothing without experience and then mostly dependant on the experience. The exams are pretty much there to backup your experience. Having them may add a couple of K to your salary.
 
I know a few companies in South Wales who will only employ an MCSE I currently have just done the exact exams as you and I am doing 70-291 which is my last exam for MCSA I'll then be doing the next three exams.

As for renumeration I'd say at least 3K - most people I know get around 5K but that is changing job.
