Hi,
Did a search but latest post seemed to be around 2 years old! Basically want to start on the certification route so am planning which direction to go. The Microsoft site wasn't too clear and there seems to be a lot of overlapping. After a while I've come up with the following and want to see if anyone has done a similar route / check it looks sound for what I am doing:

1. Microsoft .NET Framework – Application Development Foundation (Exam 70-536)
This is the foundation exam required for all certifications.

2. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development (Exam 70-562)
This along with point 1 would make me a MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications Developer.

3. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ADO.NET Application Development (Exam 70-561)
This along with point 1 would make me a MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ADO.NET Applications Developer.

4. Designing and Developing ASP.NET Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (Exam 70-564)
This along with point 1 and point 2 would make me a MCPD: ASP.NET Developer 3.5.

Cheers!

My work will be paying for the exams and giving me a number of hours a week to do self learning (and will expect me to dedicate some unpaid hours too)! I thought the exams were more like £120, but as Ciphon said, if you have a course its more like £1k+.

@RockLobster: As I will be fitting this stuff around my work / normal stuff, I decided to just outline the first 4 steps - after I will be hoping to become a 'windows 3.5 developer' too (although 4.0 might be out by then :p)... and then I can move onto the analysis and design parts. One step at a time though :) Thanks for all your input.
