I've had a bit of an issue activating my laptop since upgrading to Windows 10 a few weeks ago. Microsoft haven't been very forthcoming on fixing it but they seem to have dropped to a whole new level on today's chat.
Apparently as I was using Windows 7 Professional before I should be in Windows 10 Home now and that's why I've got problems.
A bit odd when Microsoft's own website says otherwise?
Is this sort of thing usual for their 'tech support'? I get that it's probably outsourced to poorly trained call centre staff but outright lieing and asking people to reduce the level of OS they're running seems outright shocking.
