Microsoft Edge - Possible Chrome and FF killer

Not used it myself yet but my bro was switching between the same website(io9) loaded on, Edge and, Chrome and, Edge looked really nice, better laid out.

I think Edge is much better as a pure browser, but is lacking options that IE11/Chrome etc. have. The inability to refresh from the right click is a big oversight!

Nice browser, much improved over IE, but it feels like a shell and needs more features that Chrome and Firefox already have.

Its yet another browser to add to the list of browsers the Oracle software I consult in doesn't support, which sucks.

Oracles fault not Microsoft, but it does mean it's utterly worthless having Edge on my work laptop and I have to persist with IE11 and Enterprise mode :(.

The Wife hates Edge, it doesn't support the AIM website (I didn't know that was still going). Came home to her sulking about it! Changed her default back to Chrome (annoyed that it changed it automatically) and now she's happy.

To be fair the setup of 10 does prompt you about changing the default apps, and allows you to choose not to for things like Browser and Media, etc. So it didn't automatically change it.

True, but not too many, Chrome and FF went from slim stripped down fast browsers to massive bloaty memory consuming behemoths. Gimme a good quality Ad blocker and password manager plug in and I'm happy :)

Ive tried to move to edge to

things that don't work.

Finding a Word
1 word works after arrows do not move to the word....

Clicking Anchors
does move the page to the correct page of the page. (very random locations)

Can't say I'm impressed with Edge, I really want to like it, but the performance is woeful

Load up a long ebay list and scroll down. Chrome is smooth as silk, edge stutters and seems to be unable to load images quickly enough.

Debenhams and b&q sites really struggle with it
