Microsoft Excel - I have been such an idiot!

Hi Guys.

Last Friday at work i created a excel spreadsheet and put a password on it so that no one can open it without the password...

now brainiac here has forgotten the password I used!

is there anyway to recover it? just to confirm the password level is at the top I.E i cant even open the spreadsheet without the password.

I pasted the following into the macro settings and ran it within excel and it fixed the problem!

Its probably a lot more complicated than that (and I dont claim to understand it!) but I can say it definitely works!

will that work even if the whole thing itself is protected? i.e i cant even open the spreadsheet
