Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this program to work !!

I have it installed on a new build PC with a standard PCI Modem. The Fax Console sees it ok but if i try to send a fax or receive it replies there is no dial tone. I have checked all the cables and tested the phone line and there is no problem with those.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.
 
Follow up to this, and I have tried it with my laptop as well now, but with no joy as the laptop cannonet get a dial tone, yet when I connect a normal fax to the phone line everything works.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.

I tried different leads, different modems and I actually tried using my laptop last night at home, and fount that I could not even sent faxes from home. (I'm trying to set up this fax system for a small company I know).

Perhaps its the configuration, but I set it before about 6 months ago and it worked ok till they got their computers stolen in a break in and now with the new build, my laptops it will just not 'see' a dial tone. Cant understand it.
 
Reason I ask is because with the wrong lead it won't get a dial tone. Very hard to tell a 'wrong' lead from a 'right' one though. It's down to the way they are wired.
