Hi guys due to owning the Forza on digital Xbox one they are playable on pc

But upon downloading them they will NOT start I get a splash screen and then it boots me back to the desktop

Do you have Afterburner running? That happens with me unless I chose Afterburner before running Forza. Weirdly, I can start Afterburner at any time after the first splash screen has changed to the next loading screen and the game's fine.

If not Afterburner, might be an issue with any game that has an overlay element (I have the Afterburner overlay turned off and just have the graphs on a second screen, but still stops Forza running if open).
