So you want to want to create smooth and stabilized time lapses from first-person videos. Well now you can using Microsoft Hyperlapse.

Initially designed to make GoPro videos smooth but will process any video.

Works on PC, MAC and selected Android phones.

I didn't realise that Microsoft were behind this - I've had it on my iPhone for a year now. Very, very good technology - works absolutely perfectly.

To be fair, speeding up videos and image stabilisation is not really new technology. It's been a fairly standard video of video editing programs for many years.

Works pretty well

Thats at 8x, possibly a little too fast?

Also it is on Android still but you need to join their Google+ beta group to download. Not actually tried the Android app, just used the PC program. The above video took about an hour to process at top quality settings!
