Anybody here use, or have experience of Microsofts Intelligent Application Gateway product (soon to be Forefront Unified Access Gateway)? If so, has it been a good product? What are you mainly using it for?

Also, do you know of any other supplier (Cisco etc) who do a simillar product?

Not really sure. Product eval was just dumped on my desk by the boss, saying look into this and see what it does and if we can use it and see if there are any alternatives. Think it was around whether we could replace the Cisco ASA VPN/Webmail solution we currently run.

That's my problem. I don't really know what this software does, one of our customers has come in and said it looks good and he had seen it in operation elsewhere and liked the looks of it. I need to find out what it is/does, how it compares to what we currently offer. We currently offer OWA (Outlook Web Access) over SSL VPN and IPSEC access for laptops through a pair of Cisco ASA5540's, so i need to see where this type of solution would fit, or would it replace?

Other than that i dont really have any more info, need to sit down with the customer and find out what/why they want this.

Cheers, i'll have a look later. Hopefully i should be getting MS in to talk me through it and compare against current offering.
