Hi

Maybe a strange question this but kinda important to me. Ok if anyone on here has this mouse can they please tell me if the Wheel has a positive 'click' when turned ie. like as if ** dragging ** finger over a ribbed surface. Or put another way say type of scrolling movement of the intelli mouse 1.1 and NOT like say the Microsoft Tilt mouse which is free turning. Thanks .

Mine does make a bit of a clicky noise, but not loud at all. It's all just "positive" feedback to indicate you're scrolling.

:)

Guys NOT sound ! In feel with your fingertip like it moves a notch at a time when turned ... unlike some which just turn freely. In CSS when u scroll through weapons each weapon is a 'click' that make sense now? Thanks

I think they are call detents, mouses that dont have them really suck

i still have the original microsoft optical, thats what ive used for like 5 years

too scared to upgrade and get one without clicks

Thats great thanks guys.

ArmyofHarmony stay away from the Microsoft Intelli Explorer version4 (tilt wheel with 5 buttons) its free turning and spoilt by it. Thats if you ever do decide to upgrade mate. Oh and the present version of the optical (1.1a) has the clicks just so you know.

i had this mouse, cant say i liked it, the shape was uncomfortable and its tracking at low sense was crud. Much prefer the V3 explorer anyday.

Smurfy is this mouse handed in shape? Or is it like the Intelli mouse suits either right or left hands ? Cheers.

The 6000 suits either hand, perhaps i was a little harsh saying i found it uncomfortable, im sure i could have gotten use to it, but i didnt want to, its simply not a mouse i could put into the class of 'Gaming' mouse, i say this for one reason, it skips wen using low sensitivty and making fast wide sweeps.

Its fine when using a slightly higher sensitivtivity so it may be a very nice mouse when not using it at low sensitvity, even so for my money there are better out there, for only 5 ish quid more you can get a diamondback, a superb mouse.
