All-not exactly confirmed but .....
WHY no SD card ? ! :(
I am very shocked ...Lets hope the final product will support this as I was aiming to get this one when eventually they will be out....
And the 32GB is not a lot in terms of storage ....c'mon MS ! !
Battery could be touch bigger 3500 to support the 810 beast (and lets hope that the 2nd batch is less prone to overheating)

Lots of hopes here but.....

I've had a 64gb SD in my Note 3 since release and it's hardly been touched. I would have agreed with you a couple of years ago that leaving them out is a mistake, but now I'm not sure if they're really needed.

but what about recording a minute - two of video in a HD .....it will go full very quick.
Have S4 and wife has 640Xl both with cards in int....I know that I can store them in the cloud somewhere (one drive ,google drive, dropbox etc) but you don't want recording to stop in the middle, few audiobooks and thats a 2-3GB gone (all Harry Potter series as an example was something like 3GB i think)
32GB in current era seems really small especially when they said that Win10 will cope with running IOS and Android apps

Problem here is when these are released the likes of the S6, G4, M9, Note 4 ect will be much cheaper, you then have the new iPhone 6S & Plus & the Note 5, plus not forgetting the 2015 Nexus.

It's gonna be a hard sell to shift these devices for Microsoft, unless they price them aggressively on launch.

They probably have better luck selling the higher midrange phones such as the 740 & 840

I'm torn what to do... My HTC One M7 is getting a bit old now, couple of scratches and starting to slow down. I want to move over to a Windows Phone, but the 930 is still quite pricey and has been out for a while. Or I could wait for the 940....

Because we don't know the specs.

That's an odd rumour. as all recent stiff has called them 950 and 950xl and with sd cards.

We'll know more on 10th of October. Which is rumoured MS announcement.

the specs for the 950
◾Matte White or black polycarbonate body
◾5.2 inch WQHD (1440×2560) OLED display
◾Snapdragon 808, 64-bit Hexa core
◾Iris scanner (infrared) for Windows Hello
◾3GB of RAM
◾32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot
◾20MP PureView rear camera
◾5MP Wide-angle front facing camera
◾3000 mAh removable battery
◾Qi wireless charging with flip cover
◾USB Type-C

And the 950 XL:
◾Matte White or black polycarbonate body
◾5.7 inch WQHD (1440×2560) OLED display
◾Snapdragon 810, 64-bit Octa core
◾Iris scanner (infrared) for Windows Hello
◾3GB of RAM
◾32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot
◾20MP PureView rear camera with triple LED flash
◾1mm silver ring inside the circumference of the black camera pod
◾Aluminum side buttons
◾5MP Wide-angle front facing camera
◾3300 mAh removable battery
◾Qi wireless charging integrated
◾USB Type-C

And the supposedly leaked render.

I would say there's an increased reason to have them, especially now amazon prime lets you download video. That's if they ever make a w10 app. Sure Netflix will follow, once they sort out licensing deals.

But streaming is useless on planes/trains, well unless you want to pay silly amounts. Or in remote areas where signal is bad.
