Hi Guys,

Anyone have any good alternatives to Microsoft Money?

A customer of mine is wanting to be a little proactive and switch before they change their computer in the Autumn/Winter of this year and want some time to get used to it rather than getting told they can't re-use it on Windows 10.

Thanks.

We use You Need A Budget http://www.youneedabudget.com/

As the name suggests it's more about setting budgets than Microsoft Money - but does have some very good features and has an app for your smartphone which syncs with the main program

v4 is on Steam (which is where I got it a while back in a sale) - however earlier this year they moved to a subscription model for the new version of the software.

Bank Tree personal finance 3.0
I was able to import all of my data from Microsoft Money.

A second this recommendation.

Good bit of software that is still being actively developed. Had been using MS Money for years but windows 10 meant I had to switch to an alternative. It didn't take long to export from Money and import to BankTree and then get used to a slightly different way of working.

I'm using Money 2005 on Windows 10, I did have to jump through a couple of hoops to get it running but the instructions to do so are found easily enough with a bit of googling.
