Microsoft Network question

firstly, direct your eyes toward this article from the Microsoft Knowledge base - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/871122/en-us

is there a way of making this stay on permanently through a command line or whatnot? it won't stay on when my dad's pc starts up and it's losing his wireless connection.

excellent. so how do i go about removing the software without touching the drivers?

i did try this method before but took the whole lot with it so it obviously didn't work.

it's some speedtouch external thingmajig that orange say you need for their livebox to be connective?

yeah it's their monitor program. however, when add/removing that it takes everything with it.

then goto startup check for speedtouch whatever the program is, tick it then click ok and restart the PC, then see whether it lets the wireless configuration service bootup.

Cant you configure the wireless with this monitor program?

it looks like i can but it's not the most user-friendly thing around so i haven't really got a clue what to do.

just had to stop the software from starting up at bootup and it worked fine.

so thanks for everyone's help
