How did you get them - through the post or email? It's been a month since my first charge today and I've not got anything yet :(

I've used this service quite heavily, it pretty decent. Shame when it goes up to £15 though - 'cos I wont be paying that for it.

I signed up to this a while back, turned off auto renew and then never used it and forgot about it.

Yesterday I got 800 points through the post! I don't actually use my Xbox or anything anymore so not sure what to do with them...

like above give them away if you are feeling generous in a thread to poor people, like me...who wants to try mass effect DLC :p

Indeed, it is a pain the the butt, But can you not opt for your 5.1 system to do virtualized 5.1 rather than real 5.1? When my 360 outputs through 2 channels, i just switch on virtualisation and it essentially clones the front output into the rears.
 
I haven't received my free 800 points yet... apparently "There’s been a slight delay in dispatching the initial Microsoft Points vouchers, and we're really sorry about that, but we’ll send all of the remaining vouchers to those who took up the offer in early January by next week Monday and Tuesday."

But today they sent an email offering 2400 ms points to resubscribe.. pretty tempting! Looking at the ts&cs it seems you only have to pay 8.99 for 1 month and can turn off auto renewal straight away.

I await news of my first points before that of course. :P

2400 points just turned up today. I see they are also giving away another 2400 points for anyone who cancelled after the trial who sign up for another month, at least I got an email offering that.

I got this email. I think that you have to stay subscribed for 2 months (so £17.98) to get the full 2400 points. Good if you want the service. Not bad if you just want the points though it'l take time to get them...
