Microsoft Office 2007 £90 :O

Get the much better open office for £0.00.

Better than Office 2007? Open Office is good in that it's a free alternative, but I think you'd have a hard-time arguing that it's the superior product.

It would honestly be the perfect product if they had decided to supply it with Outlook at that price.
Agree with that.

True, but its understandable why they didn't - I suppose they see it as home users having Outlook Express/Windows Mail to fulfil their needs.

Agreed - Outlook Express/Windows Mail will do the job and there are plenty of alternative e-mail applications out there that people happily use.
As a was of getting Word & Excel legally on up to 3 machines in the house Home/Student is definitely the way to go.

At work we purchased loads of Office 2007 licenses with Software Assurance so we can offer our users "Home Advantage".
They can order Office 2007 Enterprise for £15+vat which is an absolute bargain.
However that is only legal for an installation onto one PC and the license does stop being legal should our company stop paying for the Software Assurance or they stop working for us.

Yep I bought Office 2007 myself - was very impressed with the Beta versions, love the interface and how easy it is to get to all the options, and it's got some very cool features that I've been finding useful for my degree work. Already used PowerPoint 2007 for a presentation I had to do and got complemented on my use of visuals.

Word 2007 is very nice too for handling sources, seeing as it can keep track of everything for you and then automatically create a bibliography. Very happy I can have it on both my PC and notebook too.
