Microsoft Office 2007

Depends if you need all the stuff :)

Would personally never need Publisher, InfoView, Onenote or InfoPath. iirc in the ultimate version you also get some kind of accounting package too.

Again, what do you do office wise?

Personally wouldn't bother, they never usually have anything ground breakingly (probs not a word) new in each version.

I got it + £9 for the backup DVD and consider it the bargain of the year. I bought Vista Ultimate from the site as well last night and that's a crackin' deal.

Office 2007 is the exception to that; it's very different from the previous versions, adds some genuinely useful features and is much nicer and easier to use. Well worth the money.

I got Office 2007 Ultimate a couple of years ago via the MOD's employee purchase scheme for £28, best £28 I've spent imo. Well worth the upgrade whatever version you're currently using, 2007 does bring some nice useful features and it's a lot nicer to use compared to previous versions.

For £38, you'd be stupid not to really.

No brainer really - if you need Office 2007 then £38 is the cheapest way of getting it.
Office 2007 Home although giving you 3 licenses is still £50 - £60 and doesn't include all of the applications you get in Ultimate.

NHS had a similar Office 2007 discount a while back for £18, can't remember if it was the Ultimate edition though.

.ac.uk email addresses work too as far as I know (mine does anyway)
