Microsoft Outlook - Strange behaviour

Hi

I use MS outlook and was wandering if I've been hacked and someone is using my PC to send out mail.

E.G. today I was sending a picture of our daughter to a relative and clicked on send/recieve a few times to see what the status of the send was. Then a box popped up saying that it was sendin 1 of 20 emails.....weird.

I run Kaspersky Secuirty Suite and that has reported that the PC is clean.

Any ideas?

silly question,

have you got any anti virus protection? as a lot of them now scan e-mails when you send them out from your machine, maybe it keeps a log file somewhere?

Yes, Kaspersky security suite does that. Got it set to check all e-mail - security level is high - blocked access and delete if dissinfection fails -.

Maybe its cos i pressed the send recieve a few times it came up with it - still a bit strange tho

Have you got a router?

Does it have a log of all incoming connections?
