How much should i be paying, whats a rip off, and whats a good deal?

also...ive stumbled across some websites where you pay money and they send you redeem codes via email, anyone used this sort of method before? or is it a stay well clear!

I've used the email codes multiple times without problems, not to say that there wont be just I've never come across any.

You usually dont find cheap deals for codes thats more for the Live subs. The good deals are for as cheap as you can find it but ideally you dont want to be paying more then £15-£17

Edit: Also you used to be able to buy points from the USA, which no longer work IIRC

I believe buying any amount of microsoft points in retail stores is cheaper than through the 360 - someone told me this, am I right?

I ordered 4200 on Friday, got it delivered on Saturday for 32.99 inc del.

Pretty new to xbox live- when you buy a movie from the market place does it stay on your hard drive? Wouldn't mind getting some HD ones for 365 points.

They are effectively only rentals mate, so while they do stay on your hard drive, you are only licenced to play it for a short period of time (I can't mind exactly how long).

did find that a bit annoying, the licensing isn't exactly obvious until you've bought the video. Started playing a movie once just to test it before it had finished downloading, only to discover I then only had 24 hours to watch it :(. Maaged to make it anyway.. just very awkward.

theres a place online where you can get 2100 points for a shade under £14 including delivery, got mine last week.

Yeah thats where I get mine, they vary in price from there. Lately they have been anywhere from £12-14 use quidco as well for more saving.

I've used it before and so has a mate with no problems although I tend to avoid it now because its a tad on the expensive side in comparison to some deals you can find.

Im assuming its still the same, but the biggest problem with gamepointsnow is that you have to wait for them to send you a letter with an access code on. Big joke.
