Microsoft Project 2002 SP1 - real long shot

I have just had to reinstall this but have just realised that Microsoft no longer supply service packs for out of date software.

Don't suppose anybody has a download of MS Project 2002 (XP) SP1 - I know it's unlikely but not impossible!

Windows keeps trying to update it but obviously MS has removed the file!

Thanks - but that is only a small security update not the service pack (SP1).

If it's of any help the file you're looking for is called Project2002-KB830241-FullFile-ENU.exe

I have it on an old CDR but sadly it's too unreadable to copy off

Thanks but all. searches seem to lead back to MS site and no file is available. I have several cd / dvd drives if you were willing to let me have a try at reading your CDR?

MS says MS Project 2002 not compatible with win 10. It does run and you can save a MS project file (.mpp). Saving file is OK but MS project doesn't seem to shut down properly.

This is *probably* what you want- It's the SP1 ISO for the full MUI version of Project 2002, which I think will probably apply to the ES version, as this was an option for the MUI install.

If not, a little digging will find you a MUI copy, which you can set to ES on install

I've used project management software all my life. MSP 2002 was outdated in 2002. No idea why you would want it in 2026, even the newest version is poor. Powerproject from Elecosoft is the industry leader and doesn't cost very much more.
