Why is microsoft kept it quieter to reduced technet product keys from 10 to 5 for all technet subscriptions who paid a year and it was wrong and unfair for microsoft to do that without any warning and not going to give any refund for the different between 5 & 10 product keys each softwares for testing and practices on all pc.

Microsoft can forget it and will lose many technet customers. They say it not taken away the keys from us, it just their protection against prevent piracy reason. This is so stupid, surely microsoft knew all the keys under subscription account and will only use pc training and testing. Why reduced for those who never selling any product keys to peoples. I told microsoft to forget it, I will never purchase any windows, softwares, or technet subscription ever again!

Just found here: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/microsoft...ct-keys-available-to-technet-subscribers/7472 (never told me about it without any warning) Thanks microsoft for losing my 50% money.

Are you for real?

For very little money you get access to over 60 MS applications and 100+ operating systems. How is your life affected by "only" having 5 licenses per OS?

I agree. It really shouldn't make any difference, tbh.

This happened in September, so I can't see why you're complaining now. If you wanted the 10 keys you should have generated them for all the software you were going to use, when they were available ;)

I just can't think why one person would need 10 copies of Windows 7 for instance - unless he was using it for a bunch of personal machines or something.

Please for the love of god tell me English isn't your first language.

To be fair though, if you paid the money expecting to get 10 or whatever keys - regardless of whether you need them - and then after a few weeks you get 5, I can see why some people would get annoyed.

They could have at least fired out an email giving paying subscribers with a legitimate need a heads up to at least claim their keys before they were taken away, or left existing subscriptions alone and only applied it to new ones. The anti-piracy excuse is a bit thin as this is not a new issue for Microsoft and I doubt whatever development that caused them to change their policy happened overnight.

This is just another kick in the balls for people who go through the proper channels and pay for their stuff.

A warning would be nice, though I don't give a stuff either way. Quite why it is a kick in the balls I can't work out.

It is only meant for testing and evaluation, they could just supply you with 1 license per product, instead of the very, very generous 10 they have for so long. 5 is still generous and probably 4 more than most users will ever likely need.

Online activations (once 5 times is done) and telephone microsoft to reuse keys as they reject it and saying you had to purchase a 2nd subscription to get another 5 product keys with 5 times activations online as they reduced price for technet subscription customers (as part of a goodwill)
