Microsoft silver light? HardWare Acel?

Hi all. For last couple of weeks I have been having bad glitches in games. Black textures on object looked purple when moving. Anti aliasing seemed only on when stood still. Screen would dim when move also. I formatted and formatted pulling my hair out but nothing was solving it. I just bought a Asus strix 970 GTX too which started all this problem. After looking at absolute everything I could I was about to buy a new PC. I don't no what made me look in Microsoft silver light but noticed that hard ware acceleration was ticked. I restarted my PC put on Euro Truck Sim 2 and problem gone. I am currently downloading skyrim on steam as this was main game what it happened to. So does silver light hard ware acceleration hog the 970GTX or known issues?.

Silverlight is like Flash, Java, etc. It shouldn't affect your games unless you have a your browser open with Silverlight content. Personally I would say uninstall it since almost nothing uses it.

What is your system specs? And are you using the latest GPU drivers?
